Commercial Construction Estimator

Commercial General Contracting company located in Atlanta, GA is searching for a bright, dynamic Estimator to join their team.

$75,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr

Annual Bonus

• Scrub design drawings & specs by trade and assemble bid packages
• Solicit Subcontractors and Vendors for pricing all scopes of work; ensure sufficient coverage
• Review and evaluate Subcontractor and Vendor proposals to ensure the scope of work is covered and minimize the risk of scope gaps or double coverage.
• Provide complete quantity take-offs, analysis, and pricing for various construction scopes; including General Conditions
• Work with the team in the development of detailed scopes of work
• Take the lead in preparing a detailed estimate by scope division and produce a complete Contract/Bid Proposal Package
• Participate in Presentations and Project Interviews
• Complete preliminary scheduling of project construction.
• Assist the CEO as the Primary Point of Contact and Lead Person for the Pre-construction effort on all types of projects.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as an Estimator for an established General Contractor
• Experience with Conceptual Estimating and some Pre-construction Services
• Familiar with pricing Construction Manager at Risk, Design/Build, and Hard Bid delivery methods
• Excellent communication skills. Comfortable speaking in front of a group
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite including Project
• Experience using Procore Bidding Tools highly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret Construction Drawings and Specifications.
• MUST already live in the Atlanta, GA area
