We are looking for a Project Manager to administer, direct, and coordinate field supervision and subcontractors within the operations division, ensuring profitability, cost control, and project stability.
Job Responsibilities- Hire, terminate, and manage duties of assigned personnel following company policies.
- Develop and implement operating procedures for project operations.
- Approve material purchases, equipment rentals, tools, supplies, and overtime hours above a 10% budget limit.
- Approve all contract agreements and costs of outside repairs of equipment assigned to sites.
- Procure building permits and manage procurement of shop drawings, submittal data, and materials.
- Coordinate with the Superintendent to control time, cost, quality, and safety on the project.
- Prepare project budget, schedule, Schedule of Values, and acceptance criteria with the Superintendent and major subcontractors.
- Write “Scope of Work,” Change Orders, Purchase Orders, and other subcontract documentation.
- Maintain accurate field reports, including job cost updates, schedule updates, and monthly status reports.
- Ensure timely payment to subcontractors and suppliers, managing monthly payment applications to the Owner.
- Conduct weekly job meetings with subcontractors to assess schedule, quality, and safety compliance.
- Work with the Safety Director to enforce the company Safety Policy and create continuous safety awareness.
- Manage activities from contract signing through warranty period, ensuring project profitability and quality.
- Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field. - Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management with field experience.
- Preferred:
General Contractor’s License.
- Required:
3 or more years of construction management experience. - Preferred: 5 or more years of construction management experience.
- Advanced interpersonal, communicative, and organizational skills.
- Understanding of industry practices, trends, and their impact on the company.
