Job Overview

DHS Division of Child Support Services (DCSS) seeks a Child Support Services Agent 1 to enforce child support obligations and coordinate with legal and public agencies. The position is based in Albany, Dougherty County, GA.

• Registers child support applications and validates locations.
• Establishes paternity and enforces child support obligations.
• Coordinates activities with legal, judicial, and public organizations.
• Communicates with clients and constituents via telephone, email, and direct contact.
• Manages a caseload to meet the Same Day Service Standard of Operating Procedure.
• Performs other professional responsibilities as assigned.

• High school diploma/GED and one (1) year of direct job‑related experience.

• Two years at an approved, accredited college or university.
