We’re a fast-growing, PE-backed CPG company scaling aggressively. We are hiring a Senior Sales Manager in Atlanta to lead our Home Depot and DIY channel strategy.
This is a high-ownership role for someone who has directly led the Home Depot relationship for a CPG brand and understands assortment, merchandising, pricing, and broker leadership at a strategic level. This leader will have full commercial ownership across the DIY and hardware channel.
About the RoleThis is a high-impact, high-visibility leadership role reporting directly to the SVP of Sales, with full ownership of customer strategy, broker management, assortment, pricing, merchandising, and promotional execution.
Responsibilities- Own the Home Depot relationship end-to-end.
- Lead Joint Business Planning (JBP), line reviews, and retailer presentations.
- Drive distribution gains, assortment expansion, whitespace opportunities, and seasonal execution.
- Deliver measurable share growth and revenue expansion across DIY and Hardware channels.
- Lead and hold accountable a high-performing broker network with clear KPIs.
- Ensure strong in-aisle execution, new item placement, and consistent retailer-ready reporting.
- Align brokers with internal Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams.
- Own assortment strategy, shelving, planograms, pricing, and promotional calendars
- Partner with Finance to manage pricing corridors and margin optimization.
- Analyze promotional ROI and continuously optimize trade investment.
- Own demand planning and forecast accuracy across channels.
- Analyze POS data, Nielsen insights, and shipment trends to drive fact-based selling.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain to ensure operational readiness and inventory alignment.
- Direct Home Depot account ownership required.
- 5+ years of CPG sales experience in DIY, Hardware, Agricultural, Professional, or Drug channels.
- Proven broker network leadership experience.
- Experience owning assortment, merchandising, shelving, pricing, and promotions.
- Strong analytical skills (Power BI, Excel, Nielsen or similar tools preferred).
- Must be based in the Atlanta metro area.
