Job DescriptionVisa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) drives tangible, impactful and financial results for Visa’s network clients, both in the financial services and merchant sectors. Drawing on expertise in strategy consulting, data, brand management, marketing, operations and macroeconomics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients.
The US Consulting Practice within Visa Consulting & Analytics provides consulting and solution services for Visa’s largest issuers and merchants in the United States. We apply deep expertise in the payments industry to provide solutions that meet clients’ key business priorities, drive growth and improve profitability. The VC&A team offers a comprehensive range of services to address challenges in areas such as improving profitability, strategic growth, customer experience, digital payments and risk management.
You will join our consulting team and play a role in planning, selling, delivering and implementing high‑impact projects and solutions with merchant and co‑brand partners. You will develop initiatives to promote balanced and profitable growth, thereby ensuring that Visa is both the preferred brand and unique business partner.
Potential engagements could include product development, program launch, customer acquisition, customer life‑cycle optimization, retention improvement, benchmark analysis and profitability improvement.
This is a hybrid position. Expected days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications- 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or at least 5 years of experience with an advanced degree (e.g., Master’s, MBA, JD, MD), or 2 years of work experience with a PhD.
- 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or 7 or more years of experience with an advanced degree, or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD.
- Prior experience at a large management consulting firm or a strategy or program role (e.g., loyalty, co‑brand) at a merchant.
- Experience using financial indicators to measure business performance with a significant focus on impacting return on investment.
- Experience working with merchants, with additional exposure to retail, platform, or food‑service merchants a plus.
- Proven expertise in business development, account management, or go‑to‑market strategy.
- Strong analytical skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical difficulty.
- Self‑motivated, results‑oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrently.
- Outstanding communication, storytelling and facilitation skills.
- Collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, able to work effectively in a matrixed organization.
- Technologically savvy, curious, and up to date with digital trends and applications.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5–10% of the time.
