Partner, Business Consulting - Utilities

Overview

Infosys Consulting is seeking a seasoned Partner – Business Consulting to join our North American Utilities practice
, focusing on Customer Information Systems (CIS) transformation leveraging SAP platforms with a focus on SAP S/4

HANA transformations. This leadership role blends strategic advisory, program delivery, and business development within a fast-evolving utilities sector.

• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain senior and C-level client relationships, expand the professional network within client organizations, and act as a trusted advisor representing the client’s best interests. Anchor new and existing accounts and address engagement-level client concerns.
• Engagement Delivery and Management: Take bottom-line responsibility for program execution, provide vision and guidance to the team, manage key client stakeholders, conduct periodic program reviews, and ensure quality checks. Intervene in critical situations and manage client escalations in collaboration with Infosys teams.
• Proposal Development and Delivery: Lead teams to prepare large proposals and program plans, articulate Infosys differentiators and value proposition, refine financials, and lead proposal presentations to win engagements.
• Opportunity Identification/Creation: Identify multi-million-dollar opportunities within existing and new clients using industry expertise, relationships, intellectual capital, and knowledge of regulatory and market changes to create engagements.
• Contract Negotiation: Assess win probability and deal criticality, prepare for negotiations on terms and conditions, and secure internal approvals to ensure timely closure.
• Talent Management: Attract, develop, and retain top consulting talent and future Infosys Consulting leaders.
• Industry Eminence: Publish and share industry insights and participate in industry forums, co-presenting with clients on solutions to industry problems.
• Practice Building: Identify growth strategies, lead development of new offerings, and build capabilities to deliver to clients.
• Operations: Ensure operational excellence within the portfolio, including pipeline management, forecasting, and cash collections.

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 15 years of leadership experience, with strong sales/relationship management/account management experience.
• Must have at least 10 years of consulting experience in Utilities.
• SAP consulting experience with a focus on SAP S/4
  
  HANA solutions
• • At least two full-cycle SAP S/4
    
    HANA programs in any industry
  • At least one full-cycle SAP S/4
    
    HANA program for a utility with a customer base exceeding 1 million
  • At least one Phase 0 engagement for a utility for defining the S/4
    
    HANA roadmap, architecture, business processes and benefits documentation, developing cost models and regulatory business case support
• Willingness to travel up to 80%.

• M.B.A or equivalent advanced degree
• 18+ years of leadership experience with sales/relationship management/account management experience with an industry or service offering focus
• Big 4 or equivalent experience in a Partner Capacity
• Global Delivery Model experience

Compensation and benefits:
The estimated annual compensation range for Bridgewater NJ & Chicago, IL will be $200,000 to $500,000.
