Applicants must be within driving distance to our Atlanta, GA office to be considered for this role and have the ability to commute to the office a minimum of three days per week.

A day in the life
  • Client Support:
    Assist in managing client relationships by responding to inquiries, providing information on health and benefits plans, and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Account Management:
    Support the Client Manager in the administration of employee health and benefits programs, including health insurance, dental, vision, and wellness initiatives.
  • Data Management:
    Maintain accurate client records and documentation, including enrollment forms, plan summaries, and compliance materials.
  • Reporting:
    Prepare and analyze reports related to employee benefits utilization, claims, and trends to assist in strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Compliance:
    Ensure that all health and benefits programs comply with federal and state regulations, including ERISA, HIPAA, and ACA requirements.
  • Communication:
    Facilitate communication between clients, insurance carriers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of issues.
  • Training and

    Education:

    Assist in the development and delivery of employee training sessions on benefits programs and changes.
  • Project Support:
    Participate in special projects related to employee benefits, including open enrollment, plan renewals, and vendor management.
  • Administrative Support:
    Assist with gathering appropriate client information for marketing and implementing new and renewal business, creating spreadsheets and presentations for prospect/renewal meetings, preparing enrollment guides/packets for on-site enrollment meetings, and handling routine plan administration tasks (e.g., new enrollees, changes, and terminations).
  • Problem Resolution:
    Assist with any claim and plan administration problems/issues and basic correspondence with clients and companies once the agent license is obtained.
  • File Management:
    Conduct filing, file set-up, and file maintenance in Agency Management and Imaging Systems.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in employee benefits, insurance, or account management is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of health and benefits regulations is a plus.
  • Ability to research and analyze problems independently.
  • Must have Life & Health license or obtain within 90 days of employment.
