Director Product Strategy

Overview

The Product Strategy Director is responsible for defining and driving long-term product strategies across the organization. This role partners closely with executive leaders, product teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to identify growth opportunities, align product portfolios to business goals, and translate vision into actionable plans. The position has high executive visibility and relies on influence rather than direct people management.

• Develop and refine long-term product strategies aligned with business and client growth.
• Conduct market, competitive, and opportunity analysis to identify new product and revenue opportunities.
• Collaborate with executives and cross-functional teams to align strategies and execution plans.
• Support acquisitions, partnerships, and internal innovation initiatives through strategic analysis.
• Coach senior product leaders to align product lines with a clear strategic “north star.”
• Create and deliver executive-level presentations communicating vision, ROI, and outcomes.
• Facilitate workshops to build aligned product roadmaps.

• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience (or equivalent advanced degree/experience).
• Background in strategy consulting, technology consulting, or automotive industry preferred.
• Proven experience in strategic planning, market analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
• Strong financial and business acumen with experience in modeling and performance metrics.
• Ability to lead through influence in complex, matrixed environments.
