Position: Senior Vice President Corporate Payment Services Head of Product Strategy

Job Description

The Head of CPS Product Strategy is a senior strategic product leader responsible for driving the success of U.S. Bank’s Corporate Payment Systems product strategy. This leader will partner closely with stakeholders across the bank to shape and execute the CPS product strategy, and ensure alignment with technology, regulatory, financial and organizational goals. The role is pivotal in accelerating innovation, operationalizing new capabilities, and supporting the business unit’s technology modernization journey.

Functions
  • Serve as leader of strategic priorities, execution plans, and cross-functional alignment for Corporate Payment Systems product innovation.
  • Translate the organization’s vision and strategy into go-to-market plans with clear financial goals, metrics, reporting and accountability.
  • Oversee execution of strategic product initiatives across business units and enabling functions.
  • Lead the development and ongoing refinement of CPS product innovation vision and roadmap.
  • Partner with finance and other key partners to manage strategic initiatives investment, budget and forecasting & tracking financial performance.
  • Ensure ROI and cost-efficiency of product innovation and platform modernization.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance or related field
  • 10-15+ years’ experience in product management with at least 10 years’ experience within commercial credit card business
  • Deep understanding of credit card processing technology and emerging B2B payments
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with business case development, investments and budget management
  • Proven experience communicating with senior leaders and C-suite executives
  • Travel required approximately 10-15%
  • This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week
Preferred Skills/Experience
  • MBA or Masters in related field, or equivalent work experience

  • Ability to lead and develop top talent while communicating effectively with clear, impactful messaging
