Sr. Product Manager

Our client is expanding their team and is seeking a Sr. Product Manager to lead the growth and innovation of their Generator product line. This role is responsible for driving product strategy, managing new product development and launches, and ensuring our offerings remain competitive in the Retail markets.

• Have a Marketing mindset focused on customer needs, market trends, pricing strategy, and retail positioning.
• Be able to identify and evaluate new product opportunities and enhancements based on consumer insights, competitive analysis, and channel feedback.
• Lead voice-of-customer (VOC) initiatives to validate product concepts and prioritize features.
• Act as the product champion throughout the product development lifecycle — from concept and business case through to commercialization.

• Collaborate with Engineering and Compliance teams to ensure products meet required performance specifications and certification standards (e.g., PGMA, CARB, UL)... participating in Testing and Evaluation processes... NOT an Engineering role, but Technical background knowledge is a requirement.
• Develop launch materials including product positioning, training documents, and channel-specific messaging.

• Monitor industry trends, competitor products, and technology developments... work with Marketing to define gaps and build value propositions to ensure consistent messaging across marketing, sales, and retail partners.
• Develop pricing strategies that balance volume, margin, and competitive positioning across different retail channels.

• Support key national retail accounts by tailoring solutions, assisting with category reviews, line reviews and presentations as needed.
