Procurement Manager

Your Mission:

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our leadership team.
This role combines strategic procurement responsibilities with hands‑on project management focused on supply chain and warehouse improvement initiatives.

The successful candidate will spend 2–3 days per week leading strategic sourcing activities, with the remaining time dedicated to driving efficiency and process improvements within our warehouse and Supply Chain Management (SCM) department.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Procurement (2–3 days/week):

  • Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Manage key supplier relationships and negotiate high‑value contracts
  • Identify cost‑saving opportunities and drive value optimization across the supply chain
  • Conduct market analysis and supplier risk assessments
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to measure procurement performance
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment between procurement and business objectives
  • Lead supplier selection, evaluation, and performance management

Supply Chain Projects (2–3 days/week):

  • Lead and manage improvement projects within the warehouse and SCM department
  • Design and implement process optimization and automation initiatives
  • Promote operational excellence through continuous improvement methodologies
  • Coordinate cross‑functional teams to achieve project goals on time and within budget
  • Analyze existing workflows to identify and realize efficiency gains
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance overall supply chain performance
  • Report project outcomes and progress directly to senior management

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or similar
  • 5–7 years’ experience in procurement or SCM
  • Proven track record in strategic sourcing and project management
  • Fluent in Dutch and English;
    German is a plus
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
  • Experience with ERP systems, WMS, and process improvement methods
