The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and optimization of consumer promotions and national incentives. This role serves as the strategic and operational lead, partnering with internal teams, suppliers, and cross-functional groups to deliver best-in-class promotional programs that drive business results.
Key Responsibilities And Attributes- Program Leadership & Strategy
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of consumer promotions and incentive programs.
- Serve as the primary liaison between suppliers, agencies, and internal teams, acting as the single point of contact for all program matters.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional partners to develop consumer-first strategies and innovative approaches across channels and tactics.
- Contribute to the development and execution of incentive strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Project & Process Management
- Manage all project data, timelines, and reporting in internal systems, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness.
- Develop and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure policy and regulatory compliance.
- Routinely perform audits and maintain documentation for all program activities.
- Supplier & Stakeholder Management
- Lead kick-off calls, status meetings, and recaps with suppliers and internal teams.
- Manage approvals, contracts, and purchase requisitions for all suppliers.
- Facilitate asset delivery, artwork routing, and coupon management (print and digital) in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
- Data Analysis & Reporting
- Support data-driven decision-making by preparing and delivering regular reports on program performance and cost analysis.
- Identify and track cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
- Capture and share best practices, critical learnings, and innovation opportunities with the team.
- Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Drive operational excellence and promotion execution innovation.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging technologies.
- Proactively share insights and recommendations to enhance program performance.
