The Program Analyst will play a supporting role in Finance process improvement initiatives by assistingඑ with data analysis, workflow documentation, and project support. This role involves collaborating with team members to analyse existing business processes, identify areas for enhancement under guidance, support the implementation of technology‑driven solutions, and provide assistance for project completion. The ideal candidate will be eager to develop analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills, with a focus on data‑driven learning and process efficiency.
PrimaryDuties and Responsibilities
- Process Analysis & Improvement Support:
- Assist in analysing Finance processes to identify inefficiencies and automation opportunities under senior guidance.
- Help develop and maintain process documentation, including process maps and flowcharts.
- Participate in stakeholder workshops to gather information and document basic requirements.
- Support root‑cause analysis activities and contribute to brainstorming potential solutions for process optimisation.
- Assist with the implementation of process improvement initiatives and related change activities.
- Data Analysis Support:
- Collect, organise, and perform basic analysis of financial and operational data to identify trends and patterns.
- Utilise data analysis tools (primarily Excel; exposure to SQL and Tableau is a plus) under supervision to generate insights.
- Help develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track progress and measure impact.
- Project Support:
- Support planning, execution, and monitoring of process improvement projects by assisting with task tracking and documentation.
- Develop project documentation, such as meeting minutes and action‑item lists.
- Identify and escalated potential project risks and issues to senior team members.
- Provide project status updates as needed.
- Technology Enablement & Workfront Workflow Support:
- Gather information for evaluating technology solutions to support process improvements.
- Collaborate with IT for implementation and integration of new technologies.
- Document, test, and maintain Workfront workflows for Finance processes under supervision.
- Translate basic workflow requirements into Workfront configurations with guidance.
- Provide basic user support for Workfront workflows and escalade more complex issues.
- Learn how Workfront is used for project management within the team.
- Communication &
Collaboration:- Communicate task updates and findings clearly to team members.
- Build and maintain good working relationships within the immediate team.
- Actively participate in team discussions and activities to contribute to a collaborative work environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 0‑2 years of experience in a business environment, or relevant internships focusing on analysis, process, or project support.
- Basic understanding of project management principles and a willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with or strong willingness to learn Workfront or similar workflow management tools.
- Developing analytical and problem‑solving skills, with eagerness to learn and apply new concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; exposure to or foundational knowledge of SQL and data visualization tools (like Tableau) is a plus.
- Familiarity with process mapping concepts and tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organisational and time‑management skills with the ability to manage assigned tasks. powders.

- Interest in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) preferred.
- Interest in finance and accounting processes preferred.
