Job Functions & Responsibilities

Reporting to the Vice President, Marketing, Elemica’s BDR will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by identifying, qualifying, and developing new business opportunities. You will act as the first point of contact for prospective clients, representing our company’s innovative supply chain SaaS solutions, and create a strong foundation for long-term client relationships. This role is ideal for an initiative-taker who thrives in an agile and target-driven environment and who is passionate about supply chain, technology, and/or SaaS.

What

You’ll Do
  • Develop and launch the first phase of Elemica’s BDR program alongside the Head of Marketing
  • Inbound account engagement management and lead qualification
  • Coordinated outbound target account engagement with marketing and account executives
  • Lead generation, prospecting, and multi-touch nurture to create SQLs
  • Leverage multiple channels including Linked In, email, phone, in-person events and other buyer channels
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand prospects' business challenges and goals
  • Schedule meetings or demos with Sales Executives to advance the sales process
  • Leverage CRM tools, databases, and industry research to build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads
  • Closely collaborate with the sales, marketing, and pre-sales teams to ensure alignment on messaging and lead handoffs
  • Provide insights from customer interactions to inform positioning and GTM strategies
  • Maintain detailed records of prospect interactions and activities in Salesforce and Pardot
What You’ll Need
  • 0-2 years of experience in a sales, business development, or customer-facing role (preferably in SaaS/tech or supply chain)
  • Experience participating in the development of a new BDR program required
  • Proven use and desire to leverage AI tools for data gathering, analysis, message development, testing and personalization (ChatGPT, Claude, Zoom Info Copilot, Regie.ai, Outreach)
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule in our downtown Atlanta, GA, office - 3 days per week onsite and 2 remote
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build rapport
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet targets
  • Proven use of tools - Salesforce, Pardot, Zoom Info, Linked In Navigator - and sales enablement tools
  • A self-starter with a growth mindset, eager to learn and take initiative
  • Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in the SaaS space
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of your time, including international travel
