Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to the CEO, who will also support the Board. This position requires a servant leader mindset through a dynamic individual capable of managing executive-level administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level administrative support to the CEO: manage schedules, appointments, and travel arrangements including accommodations, transportation, and meals when necessary.
  • Prepare and organize documents, reports, and presentations for meetings; prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by the CEO.
  • Serve as a liaison between the CEO and the Board of Directors, executive team, senior leaders, donors, partners, and external organizations to ensure efficient and timely flow of work and facilitate swift action and responses.
  • Board Support: liaise with the board, attend quarterly board meetings, assist with logistics and meeting coordination, manage the board website, organize important documents, and develop reporting system for board and campaign members.
  • Project Management: assist the CEO with special projects, conduct research, gather data, prepare comprehensive reports, monitor project timelines, ensure deadlines are met, utilize project management tools, and coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve on-time deliverables.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of related work experience, preferably in a growth‑phase nonprofit environment.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills with computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs).
Position Requirements
  • Employment contingent upon successful completion of pre‑employment background checks, including criminal history, fingerprinting, and drug testing.
  • Continued employment subject to ongoing compliance with these checks.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license required and must be maintained throughout employment.
  • Documentation of references: at least two professional and one personal references attesting to the candidate’s capability and suitability for working with/around children and vulnerable populations.
Working Conditions
  • Ability to lift objects up to 25 pounds and work for long periods at a computer.
  • Moderate local travel required related to program and training needs, and occasional travel beyond the metro Atlanta area.
