The position requires availability Mon-Fri in addition to rotational weekends and holidays.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Injury Intake Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the intake process for personal injury cases, ensuring exceptional client service from initial contact through case evaluation.
Responsibilities- Serve as the first point of contact for potential clients, providing a compassionate and professional introduction to our firm.
- Conduct initial client interviews and intake assessments to gather relevant information regarding personal injury claims, ensuring confidentiality and sensitivity.
- Evaluate the information provided by potential clients employing personal injury knowledge to determine case viability, aligning with the firm's standards and expertise.
- Set expectations with the potential client by briefly explaining the process of their case, time frames and answering any pertinent questions.
- Document and maintain accurate and comprehensive records.
- Send required documentation to client for signatures and actively follow up until documentation is signed and returned.
- Refer the client for treatment, obtain accident reports and additional pertinent information.
- 3 years of experience in personal injury law and legal procedures.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of discretion dealing with confidential information.
- Proven experience in client-facing roles, customer service, or sales.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate documentation of client interactions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to empathize with clients and build rapport.
- Professional appearance and behavior.
- Excellent time management, multitasking, and critical thinking abilities.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills on the phone, in person and email.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Case Management software (Litify preferred).
- Ability to quickly assess and analyze information to make informed decisions.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- College degree or paralegal certification a plus.
