The position requires availability Mon-Fri in addition to rotational weekends and holidays.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Injury Intake Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the intake process for personal injury cases, ensuring exceptional client service from initial contact through case evaluation.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for potential clients, providing a compassionate and professional introduction to our firm.
  • Conduct initial client interviews and intake assessments to gather relevant information regarding personal injury claims, ensuring confidentiality and sensitivity.
  • Evaluate the information provided by potential clients employing personal injury knowledge to determine case viability, aligning with the firm's standards and expertise.
  • Set expectations with the potential client by briefly explaining the process of their case, time frames and answering any pertinent questions.
  • Document and maintain accurate and comprehensive records.
  • Send required documentation to client for signatures and actively follow up until documentation is signed and returned.
  • Refer the client for treatment, obtain accident reports and additional pertinent information.
Minimum Requirements
  • 3 years of experience in personal injury law and legal procedures.
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of discretion dealing with confidential information.
  • Proven experience in client-facing roles, customer service, or sales.
Qualifications
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate documentation of client interactions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to empathize with clients and build rapport.
  • Professional appearance and behavior.
  • Excellent time management, multitasking, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills on the phone, in person and email.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Case Management software (Litify preferred).
  • Ability to quickly assess and analyze information to make informed decisions.
Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • College degree or paralegal certification a plus.
