We are seeking a highly polished Firm Administrator to serve as the operational and administrative anchor for a boutique trust and estates litigation practice serving a sophisticated clientele.
This is a visible, hands‑on role for a professional who takes pride in running a seamless office and supporting attorneys at a high level. In addition to overseeing day‑to‑day operations and financial management, prior knowledge in preparing and filing routine court documents in Georgia’s Probate and Superior Courts will be a HUGE feather in your cap. This work is procedural, deadline‑driven, and administrative in nature rather than substantive litigation.
The ideal candidate brings sound business judgment, strong attention to detail, and a calm, confident presence in a client‑facing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily operations to ensure a smooth, well‑run office
- Manage and reconcile trust, operating, and expense accounts
- Oversee budgeting, bookkeeping, and coordination of tax accounting and filings
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance
- Provide high‑level administrative and legal assistant support to attorneys
- Prepare, organize, and submit routine filings in Georgia’s Probate and Superior Courts
- Track deadlines and maintain orderly case files
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and service providers
- Maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
- Provide limited support for partners’ personal financial and business matters
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and office technology
- Excellent typing skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Highly organized, discreet, and professional communication style
- Comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Prior law firm administration or office management experience
- Experience supporting trust, estates, or closely held professional practices
- Familiarity with Georgia court filing procedures (helpful, but not required)
This position is well‑suited for an experienced administrator who enjoys being trusted, relied upon, and deeply embedded in the daily rhythm of a small, relationship‑driven practice. The firm values longevity, professionalism, and a thoughtful approach to client service.
If this sounds like the kind of environment where you do your best work, we would welcome a confidential conversation.
