Atlanta Technical College (ATC) is seeking highly qualified applicants for its Testing Center Proctor (Part-Time) position in the Economic Development division. This position is located on Atlanta Technical College Main campus, just south of Downtown Atlanta, as well as the South campus in Forest Park Georgia.
Under general supervision of the Vice President of Economic Development, the Testing Center Proctor (Part-Time) is responsible for ensuring the secure, accurate, and compliant administration of exams and supports the overall operation of the testing environment.
Job duties include, but may not be limited to, the following:
- Proctor various assessments.
- Procures appropriate assessment materials according to testing needs.
- Properly administers testing and skill assessments.
- Obtains accurate and complete examinee Information, Identification, and documentation; and accurately maintains all examinee information, records, and reports, respecting confidentiality according to all governing agencies’ express written policies.
- Ensures that all testing criteria/parameters required by external agencies are upheld in the testing environment according to the respective testing policies, procedures, and requirements.
- Prepares computers, manage examinees from check-in to check-out, and closes labs after completion of exams.
- Enters examine information and scores into BANNER and other databases related to testing.
- Enters, accesses, registers, and updates examinee information in Register Blast as needed.
- Ensures computer equipment and software within the testing lab is functioning properly for testing prior to and during testing sessions.
- Notifies appropriate personnel when computer equipment and software are not functioning adequately. Maintains test security to ensure confidentiality, integrity of test materials and test procedures.
- Successfully completes and participates in annual training sessions as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of various Assessments and allowable materials
- Knowledge of Prometric Administrator station and testing workstations
- Knowledge of Pearson Vue Administrator station and testing workstations
- Knowledge of CLEP Server, Administrator station and testing workstations
- Oral and written communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Skill in the operation of computers and job-related software programs
- Skill in interpersonal relations and in dealing with the public
- Ability to provide instruction to others on use of equipment or processes
- Must possess and demonstrate the following:
Associate’s degree AND Three (3) years of work-related experience - Note:
Experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis
- Must be available to travel to all campus locations, as needed. The testing schedule is subject to change based on program needs.
