Local Sales Assistant - WSB TV
WSB TV Atlanta is looking for a full-time Local Sales Assistant! In this position you will need to successfully operate in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. The ideal candidate will be a key contributor to our sales team's success.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Enter TV sales orders into our internal operating system while meeting strict deadlines
- Maintain schedules and paperwork
- Resolve any advertiser schedule discrepancies
- Assist local sales account executives and sales managers with important tasks effectively and efficiently
- Perform general office duties including answering phones including the switchboard, back up for other assistants and other key clerical duties
- Updating station materials including media kits, program one-sheets and other sales documents
- A professional and positive attitude
- Highly organized and possess the ability to switch focus quickly when needed and work on multiple projects at the same time
- Accurate computer data entry skill and ability
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, able to act with a sense of urgency and adhere to set deadlines
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team
- Must be able to work in highly collaborative environment
- Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills providing quick response time and accurate issue resolution
- Results-driven and highly accountable
- Self-directed, motivated, and with exceptional multi-tasking abilities
- Must have a valid US driver's license with clean driving record
- College degree preferred but not required
