Staff Accountant – West Atlanta, GA
We are seeking a detail‑oriented and growth‑minded Staff Accountant to join a well‑established, rapidly expanding organization in the distribution and services industry. As a Staff Accountant, you will support daily and monthly accounting functions while helping strengthen the department’s overall capacity. Core responsibilities include:
Reconciliations & Work papers (Monthly & Quarterly)- Prepare and maintain detailed reconciliations
- Ensure accurate and timely closing processes
- Build and maintain supporting work papers
- Reconcile interest, principal, and payoffs
- Support audits and provide documentation to lenders
- Monitor equipment movement between entities
- Participate in the monthly close
- Process intercompany transactions and allocations
- Prepare journal entries (templates available)
- Support cost allocations (benefits, etc.)
- Potentially manage sales commissions in the future
- Assist with process improvements and increased automation
- Work closely with sales coordinators and other teams
This role requires a Staff Accountant who is comfortable working independently while also thriving in a highly collaborative environment.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred
- 3–5 years of accounting experience
- Strong Excel skills required (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, templates)
- Month‑end close and reconciliation experience
- Experience in a service‑based industry a plus, not required
- ERP experience helpful;
Microsoft Dynamics preferred - Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to collaborate with multiple departments

- Salary: $75,000–$80,000
