Staff Accountant

Location:

Doraville, GA
Onsite: 5 days per week (food, restaurant, or hospitality industry experience strongly preferred)

Position Overview

The Staff Accountant will support full-cycle accounting operations for a growing, fast-paced organization with multiple locations. This role is fully onsite and will work closely with leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close activities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable to multiple systems, and comfortable working in an operationally driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform full-cycle accounting, including journal entries, accruals, and general ledger maintenance
Support month-end close, coordinating with an offshore accounting team (ADP)
Prepare and review bank reconciliations on a 4-week accounting calendar (13 periods annually)
Reconcile activity from third-party delivery platforms (e.g., food delivery partners)
Track and record monthly expenses, accruals, and imports-related transactions
Analyze P&L activity and assist with variance analysis
Manage accounting activity across multiple software systems, including high-volume imports
Support wholesale operations tied to Atlanta-based food production and distribution
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data for leadership review

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
Intacct experience preferred
Experience in food, restaurant, hospitality, or manufacturing environments preferred
Strong understanding of reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries
Comfortable working onsite in a hands-on, operational accounting role
CPA not required

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $70,000–$80,000 base (flexible for the right candidate)
Fully onsite role (5 days/week)
