Senior Associate - Audit - Full-time
Location: Atlanta, GA
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Licensed CPA or CPA Candidate
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Proficiency with Thomson Reuters Advance Flow or Case Ware
- We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our Audit and Assurance Team! As a Senior Associate, you will have the opportunity to work with the team and to lead the financial statement engagements of our clients.
- Obtain a comprehensive understanding of client operations, processes, and business objectives, and utilize that knowledge to perform engagement procedures.
- Clearly and adequately prepare a variety of working papers and financial statements for engagement quality control review.
- Develop and perform effective analytical procedures on account balances.
- Effectively work independently, as well as within a team.
- Maintain open communication with engagement management regarding questions, issues that arise, and the progress of completion of projects.
- Maintain and develop client relationships by providing exceptional client services.
- Execute feedback to minimize duplication of procedures and apply new concepts.
- Availability to travel to clients within the Atlanta Metro area. (less than 20% travel).
