Join a thriving commercial real estate property management company as their Senior Property Accountant. This on-site role is perfect for a detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You’ll handle the full accounting cycle for a diverse portfolio, partner closely with the property management team, and bring your outgoing personality to an office that values energy, teamwork, and excellence.

Experience with CAM reconciliations is a plus—and your ability to make numbers tell a story will make you stand out.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle property accounting for a diverse commercial portfolio—including general ledger entries, bank and CAM reconciliations, cash receipts, accounts payable/receivable, and month-end closings.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, variance analyses, and forecasting reports to support property performance.
  • Collaborate with property management teams to ensure accurate tenant billings, rent rolls, CAM, utility, and tax reimbursements, and timely invoice processing.
  • Perform bank, balance sheet, and reserve reconciliations, support budgeting and forecasting, and assist with integrations for new acquisitions.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights in a lively, fast-paced environment, and help refine accounting processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, with 3–5+ years of commercial real estate or property management accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, full-cycle property accounting, account reconciliations (especially CAM), variance analysis, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Yardi, MRI, Nexus, or similar property accounting software, plus advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Exceptional analytical ability, attention to detail, and an outgoing, team-oriented personality that thrives in a collaborative, dynamic culture.

If you love numbers, commercial real estate, and working with a team that feeds off each other’s energy, we’d love to connect with you!
