UHY Resource Solutions is seeking hands-on Accounting Manager or Controller to step in quickly and be hands-on with journal entries, reconciliations, consolidations, and serve as a key point of contact for external auditors. The environment is fairly systems-driven. Workday and Epicor 21 systems experience is a plus, though they’re open to someone who’s ERP-savvy and quick to adapt.

Our projects run 3-4 months (potential for extension) and focuses on strengthening core accounting operations and process efficiency.

The ideal professional brings deep accounting expertise, strong business acumen and proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

• Perform hands-on daily accounting tasks including booking journal entries and executing account reconciliations.
• Manage the consolidation of financial results, specifically for distribution centers and international entities in Mexico and the Philippines, utilizing Workday for consolidation and financial reporting.
• Serve as a key point of contact and provide necessary support for external auditors to help finalize the year-end audit process.
• Work independently to maintain clean books and ensure the integrity of financial data.
• Utilize the Epicor 21 ERP system for General Ledger entries; adaptability and proficiency with various ERP systems are highly valued.
• Contribute to stabilizing the month-end close and year-end processes during a period of organizational transition.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA or MBA preferred
• 10+ years of hands-on accounting experience with a strong focus on reconciliations and month-end close
• Deep understanding of general ledger accounting and financial statement accuracy
• Strong experience preparing journal entries and performing account analysis
• Able to work independently and dive into detailed, high-volume reconciliations
