Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant – Onsite (5 Days) – Doraville, GA

Salary $70,000 – $85,000 per year. Fully onsite, 5 days per week in a fast‑paced, multi‑location food and wholesale business.

The Staff Accountant supports full‑cycle accounting operations for a growing organization. The role is hands‑on, works closely with leadership, and manages reconciliations, month‑end close, export/import transactions, and P&L analysis across multiple systems.

• Perform full‑cycle accounting, including journal entries, accruals, and general ledger maintenance
• Support month‑end close, coordinating with the offshore accounting team (ADP)
• Prepare and review bank reconciliations on a 4‑week calendar (13 periods annually)
• Reconcile activity from third‑party delivery platforms (e.g., food delivery partners)
• Track and record monthly expenses, accruals, and import‑related transactions
• Analyze P&L activity and assist with variance analysis
• Manage accounting activity across multiple software systems with high‑volume imports
• Support wholesale operations tied to Atlanta‑based food production and distribution
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data for leadership review

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
• Intacct experience preferred
• Experience in food, restaurant, hospitality, or manufacturing environments preferred
• Strong understanding of reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries
• Comfortable working onsite in a hands‑on, operational accounting role
• CPA not required

• Salary $70,000–$80,000 base (flexible for the right candidate)
