Overview

Vaco has partnered with a growing healthcare-focused organization to fill an open Accounts Receivable Specialist opportunity. The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for reconciling payment details, retrieving patient and payment information, posting payments, and following up on insurance denials to ensure timely and accurate revenue collection. This role plays a critical part in maintaining clean accounts receivable records and supporting overall financial operations.

• Reconcile payment details to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Retrieve and review patient and payment information from internal systems
• Follow up on insurance denials to support timely resolution and payment
• Post payments after accounts receivable details are fully reconciled
• Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with company policies

• 1-3 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a related accounting role
• Experience with eClinical
  
  Works (ECW) preferred but not required
• Candidates with experience using other EMR systems will be considered
• Strong attention to detail and ability to reconcile financial data accurately
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners
