Tax Manager – Public Accounting
Location: Atlanta, GA | Hybrid | Full-Time
We are recruiting on behalf of a respected mid-sized public accounting firm for an experienced Tax Manager. This position offers the opportunity to lead complex tax engagements and provide strategic guidance to clients across diverse areas, including high-net-worth individuals, corporations, partnerships, estates, trusts, and gift tax matters.
Key Responsibilities- Review and prepare complex tax returns for individuals, businesses, and estates.
- Mentor and develop junior team members.
- Maintain accurate work papers and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Communicate effectively with engagement leaders and clients.
- Conduct tax research and stay current on tax law changes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Active CPA license (required).
- 10+ years of tax experience in public accounting (preferred).
- Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with Thomson Reuters Ultra Tax CS (a plus).
