We are seeking a Staff Accountant on behalf of a long‑established wealth management and tax advisory firm. In business for over 30 years, this organization provides full-service accounting and tax preparation support to clients nationwide. Due to continued growth, they are adding a Staff Accountant to their team to support full‑cycle bookkeeping, payroll review, and tax preparation activities.

The Staff Accountant will manage a portfolio of clients and ensure each client’s financial records are accurate, complete, and tax‑ready. This position requires current, hands‑on accounting experience and strong proficiency in Quick Books Desktop and Quick Books Online.

• Prepare books and records for tax preparation for small business clients
• Review and manage payroll setup, payroll entries, and payroll accuracy
• Maintain accurate general ledger activity using Quick Books Online and checklist-driven processes
• Identify discrepancies in client financials and resolve accounting issues
• Utilize spreadsheets and AI‑supported tools to streamline workflow
• Follow structured processes and checklists to ensure consistency across clients

• 70% — Bookkeeping & general ledger work
• 20% — Payroll review & entries
• 10% — Client support & checklist-based tasks

• Current, hands‑on bookkeeping or staff accounting experience
• Strong Quick Books Online proficiency
• Solid understanding of debits, credits, and accounting fundamentals
• Ability to consistently follow structured processes and checklists
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and reliability

• Base salary: $80,000–$100,000 depending on experience
• Quarterly performance-based bonus
