We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. • Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
• Help with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit.
• Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested.
• Supervise and/or manage general ledger accounting functions.
• Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end.
• Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships.
• Work with Human Resources and senior staff to create a healthy and productive work environment.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).
• Professional accounting designation (CA, CMA, or CPA).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior accounting role.
• Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulations.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
• Good problem-solving and time management skills.
• Great attention to detail.
• Excellent computer skills, experience in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite, especially in MS Excel.
• Experience in services related to payroll such as writing checks and submitting payroll taxes.
• Strong understanding of business and income tax worksheets and computations.
