This is a full-time on-site role for a Staff Accountant located in Atlanta, GA. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for performing daily accounting activities, such as managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling accounts, preparing financial statements, and assisting with tax preparation. Additional responsibilities include analyzing financial data, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting audits.
Qualifications- Knowledge in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger processes
- Experience preparing financial statements and managing reconciliations
- Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and other relevant tools
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in an office environment
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA certification or eligibility for CPA exam is preferred
- Experience in public accounting or the financial services industry is a plus
