This role offers hands‑on experience preparing a variety of tax returns, researching complex tax matters, supporting client tax planning, and building relationships while working with a diverse and sophisticated client base including high-net‑worth individuals and businesses across multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review individual, trust, partnership, and corporate tax returns, including detailed work papers.
- Draft and revise tax correspondence, memoranda, and client deliverables.
- Prepare tax projections and support tax planning strategies.
- Research and analyze domestic and international tax issues.
- Provide training, guidance, and support to tax staff and interns.
- Develop foundational relationship‑building skills to support client loyalty.
- Build understanding of client industries, KPIs, and emerging tax trends.
- Participate in networking activities and maintain relationships with business peers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required;
Master’s in Accounting or Taxation preferred. - Minimum 1 year of public accounting experience, with at least one busy season.
- CPA licensed or actively pursuing CPA eligibility.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing deadlines with high-quality results.
- Strong technical tax skills and analytical abilities.
