Pay range: $85,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr

• Take responsibility for the general ledger and complete monthly financial statements for an assigned property portfolio
• Perform various account reconciliations, including cash, accounts receivable, prepaid rent, tenant security deposits, and gross potential rent
• Record monthly journal entries for accruals, reclassifications, amortization, depreciation, management fees, distributions, and non-tenant cash receipts
• Complete closing schedules for property transactions, as well as opening and closing journal entries for acquisitions and sales
• Generate monthly financial reports, including the balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement, supporting schedules, and any additional necessary reports for each property
• Ensure assets are capitalized according to policy, accurately reflecting renovation, rehab, and other capital improvements in the general ledger. Properly calculate and record depreciation for fixed assets and amortization for intangible assets
• Collaborate with the operations team during month-end closing to investigate specific transactions, resolve tenant ledger discrepancies, calculate accruals, and finalize monthly reporting packages
• Determine available cash for payables and authorize payments to the accounts payable team for invoice processing
• Assist with financial statement audits, tax filing, and process improvement, including the documentation of procedures

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or relevant)
• At least 3 years of accounting experience (accrual experience, GL account reconciliation, bank statement reconciliation)
• 3 years of experience within multi‑entity, real estate, or property accounting
• Experience with a property/real estate ERP preferred though not required
