Job Details

Job Requirements:

• B.S. and/or M.A. in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent degree required.
• 3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role required.
• CPA license preferred.
• Advanced excel skills are required.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, conceptual skills are required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with the month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes to established deadlines and client service expectations.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, financial reports, fixed asset reporting, and ad-hoc analysis for client partners.
• Work with the Accounting Manager and/or the Director of Accounting to evaluate new client arrangements with reporting requirements to determine appropriate course of action.
• Assist in identifying requirements for accounting reports or system changes impacting accounting and financial reporting.
• Audit IT delivered reports to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies identified before reports are used to process accounting transactions.
• Drive process improvements by identifying and developing more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Communicate with client partners to resolve issues; obtain support from other departments
