Staff Accountant - Buckhead Transportation/Logistics Responsibilities
- Maintaining records of business transactions such as general ledger
- Cost accounting
- Collections
- Reconciliations
- Month-end close
- Balance ledgers
- Reconcile accounts
- Enter accounts payable transactions
- Assist with inventory management, and prepare reports
The position requires a sharp eye for details, be highly organized, customer focused, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Required Experience- +5 years of Accounting experience with a strong ability to recognize and resolve discrepancies
- General office administration experience including excellent telephone skills
- Working knowledge of Quick Books, Microsoft Access, Excel, and Word
- +2 years of ERP Experience
- Prior experience with manufacturer including inventory movements and costing highly desired
