We are excited to be partnering with an award-winning real estate investment manager on a Senior Accountant search. Recognized by the AJC as one of Atlanta's Best Places to Work, the company continues to experience strong growth, prompting the creation of this pivotal new role.

This Senior Accountant role is a hands‑on, high‑visibility position supporting a complex separately managed account portfolio and related corporate entities. Reporting to the Director of Accounting, the Senior Accountant will collaborate closely with Senior Management, Corporate Finance, and Asset Management. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high‑performing, experienced team and make a meaningful impact within the organization.

Hybrid

Schedule:

4 days in office / 1 day from home.

• Own day‑to‑day accounting operations and the monthly close
• Manage intercompany transactions across multiple entities
• Maintain general ledger integrity, accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Prepare and review GAAP financial statements and supporting schedules
• Apply ASC 842 lease accounting guidance
• Lead the audit process and serve as a primary contact for external auditors
• Support acquisitions, dispositions, and asset management initiatives
• Drive process improvements, automation, and stronger internal controls

• 2–5 years of progressive accounting experience
• Active CPA required
• Public accounting experience preferred
• Exposure to real estate, private equity, fund, or investment accounting a plus
• Strong Excel skills; experience with Yardi or similar systems preferred
• Detail‑oriented, analytical, and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
