6 Degrees Group is recruiting for an Accounting Manager on behalf of a rapidly expanding, private equity-backed client in the roofing and construction industry. This company is focused on strategic growth through acquisitions and is building a high-performing team to support its scaling operations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, hands-on, and motivated to enhance financial infrastructure in a fast-paced environment.

• Lead the monthly close process and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting.
• Oversee Accounts Payable operations and implement strong internal controls.
• Support audit readiness and coordinate with external auditors.
• Assist with acquisition integrations and continuous process improvements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in multi-entity or acquisition-driven organizations.
• Strong proficiency in Net Suite preferred; prior PE-backed or start-up experience a plus.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
