SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

We have been engaged by a large, Atlanta-based company in a search for a Senior Accountant. The company has a track record of internal promotions, stability and a very strong leadership team. They offer hybrid flexibility and a competitive compensation/benefit package.

The Senior Accountant will report to an Accounting Manager and be responsible for financial reporting, month end close, GAAP compliance, journal entries, bank and account reconciliations, P&L review, Balance Sheet review, bank reconciliations, internal controls, COGS analysis, and variance analysis.

The right candidate for this Senior Accountant role will have:

• Bachelor's in Accounting
• 3+ years of progressive career experience
• Experience in: general ledger accounting, month end close, P&L review, balance sheet review , journal entries, variance analysis (explaining differences), and bank reconciliations.
• Strong communication skills and professional presence
• CPA/CPA track
