6 Degrees Group is recruiting for a Senior Property Accountant on behalf of one of our clients in Atlanta, GA. This role will support a portfolio of commercial real estate properties, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong property accounting experience, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for assigned properties.
• Manage general ledger activity, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and tenant billing functions.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of property accounting experience, preferably in commercial real estate.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and property management/accounting software.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
