The Role

Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll oversee the full spectrum of accounting and finance operations in a hands‑on capacity. You’ll work with a small team that supports finance and administration functions while contributing across the business. This is a long‑term leadership opportunity with potential to grow into more senior roles as Tramin continues to expand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage accounting operations: month‑end close, payroll, cash flow, budgeting, audit preparation.
  • Maintain the general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and financial records.
  • Produce internal and external financial reports and analyses to support decision‑making.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for finance and accounting systems.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and external reporting requirements.
What You Bring
  • 10+ years of progressively responsible accounting/finance experience.
  • CPA designation preferred but not required.
  • Experience using Sage accounting software or similar systems.
  • Background in industrial services, mining, or forestry is an asset.
  • Self‑starter who thrives in a small‑team environment and takes full ownership of finance functions.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to support business growth.
