Overview
The Salvation Army’s Athol Corps. is hiring a Kids Club Aide and offers the following benefit package for part-time employees.

Location
: 107 Ridge Ave., Athol, MA
Hours/week: 2-5 hours per week
Exemption: Non-exempt
Pay Range
: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
* starting pay varies depending on experience and qualifications*
Help lead Kids Club; assist in the music & arts classes
Duties & Responsibilities- Plan, develop, and implement curriculum and programming that effectively address both individual and group needs.
- Monitor and maintain the facility to ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning, including minor repairs, health and safety compliance, inventory control, and requests for supplies or equipment.
- Complete all required documentation in a timely and accurate manner, including but not limited to attendance records, nutritional reports, lesson plans, fire drill logs, narratives, and progress notes.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to encourage engagement, participation, and collaboration in support of each child’s development.
- Assist with the serving of meals and ensure proper cleanup following dinner service.
- Ensure that all areas are cleaned, organized, and secured at the end of each day.
- Ensure compliance with all State regulations pertaining to health, education, nutrition, and professional development.
Education Requirements:
High School or GED Required
Work Experience:
1+ years’ experience working with children
Other
Qualifications:
- Must be self-motivated, organized, and creative
- Good communication skills
- Experience in teaching Sunday School preferred
- Salvationist Preferred
