- Mixed ICU setting: MICU / SICU / CCU / ICU
- 1:2 patient ratios (Days & Nights)
- Epic charting
- Required:
Community hospital with strong interdisciplinary support - Great opportunity for experienced ICU travel nurses
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience
- Previous travel experience – REQUIRED
- Comfortable with high‑acuity ICU patients
- Teaching or community hospital experience preferred
- Ability to float as needed
Weekend rotation:
Every other weekend
- BLS – Required
- ACLS – Required
- NIHSS – Preferred
- TNCC – Preferred
- Cardiac monitoring & dysrhythmia management
- Multisystem organ failure management
- Ventilator & respiratory support (BiPAP, CPAP, HFNC)
- ABG interpretation & suctioning
- Titration of cardiac & vasoactive drips
- Continuous IV & procedural sedation
- Central lines, PICCs, arterial lines
- Blood product administration
- Stroke/CVA management
- IV insulin protocols
- Epic computerized charting
- 10‑bed ICU with daily census ~8
- Adult & geriatric population
- Strong support: RT, PT, Pharmacy, Rapid Response, Radiology, Social Services
- Orientation: 24 hours
