Shift: Nights | 3x12s (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Patient Ratio: 1:2

Charting System: Epic

• $22.50/hr taxable
• $1,246 weekly stipend (housing & meals)
• Estimated Total Weekly Pay: $2,056

We are seeking an experienced Travel ICU Registered Nurse for a mixed medical/surgical/cardiac intensive care unit. The ICU RN will provide high-quality care to critically ill adult and geriatric patients requiring complex monitoring, advanced interventions, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

This role requires strong clinical judgment, critical thinking skills, and the ability to manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction in a fast-paced ICU environment.

• Active RN license (Texas or Compact)
• Minimum 2 years ICU experience
• Previous travel experience required
• ACLS & BLS required, NIHSS and TNCC preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Ability to float to units of equal or lower acuity

• Cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Management of ventilated patients
• Titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Continuous IV sedation & procedural sedation
• CVA/acute stroke management
• Swan‑Ganz & pulmonary artery line monitoring
• Pre/Post cardiac cath care
  
  BiPAP/CPAP & HFNC management
• Arterial line, PICC, central line & port management
• Blood product administration
• IV insulin protocols
• Chest tube assistance
• ABG interpretation
• Wound vac and surgical drain care

• 10-bed ICU
• Adult & Geriatric population
• Average daily census: 8 patients
• Weekend requirement:
  Every other weekend
• Orientation: 24 hours
• Float required

Travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible. Must be authorized to work in the US.
