UT Health East Texas is searching for a full-time Faculty BE/BC OB/GYN physician to join an established clinic in Athens, TX - 30 miles to Tyler / 72 miles to Dallas.
About the Position:
Monday-Thursday full-time, Friday 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
As a partner with the University of Texas System, our Graduate Medical Education program is a vital part of UT Health East Texas, which is rapidly expanding. We are excited about our medical school, which opened in 2023.

UT Health East Texas includes 10 hospitals, over 90 clinics, the Olympic Plaza Tower, 13 regional rehabilitation facilities, two emergency centers, regional home health services covering 41 counties, an EMS fleet of over 50 ambulances and four helicopters, and a comprehensive seven-trauma center network, including the region's only Level 1 trauma facility. In 2024, six Urgent Care clinics were added to our network.
Our team comprises nearly 400 employed providers and over 7,000 staff members.
As a partner with the University of Texas System, UT Health East Texas offers access to cutting-edge research and clinical therapies while training the next generation of healthcare professionals. Our Graduate Medical Education programs include Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Occupational Medicine, and Psychiatry residencies.
