Provide a variety of customer related services through telephone and fax contact including inquiries, orders, order entry, pricing, scheduling, delivery and disposition of customer complaints and questions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communicate with customers regarding pricing, inventory, scheduling, shipment and expediting information and process orders in computer system
- Interact with Argon warehouses regarding shipping and expediting of orders
- Provide technical support for customers as needed
- Resolve customer questions, complaints and requests
- Adjust complaints concerning billing or service rendered, referring complaints to designated departments for investigation
- Interact with other departments on a variety of issues.
- Provide assistance to Sales Representatives.
- Participate in training newly hired Customer Service Representatives
- Operate a personal computer and appropriate software packages.
- Follow all safety procedures.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience with Argon products preferred
- Basic Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be self-directed while performing daily duties
- Must be able to work with a minimum of supervision and make responsible decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Due to the business necessity of communication, safety and production, candidates must be able to speak, read and write English
