Graduate Men’s Soccer Assistant

Tennessee Wesleyan University Men’s Soccer is seeking a highly motivated Graduate Assistant to support all aspects of the men’s soccer program. This position is ideal for individuals pursuing a graduate degree while gaining hands-on collegiate coaching and administrative experience.

• Assist the Head Coach with all aspects of the men’s soccer program
• Support team training sessions, match preparation, and game-day operations
• Focus on goalkeeper development through planning and executing goalkeeper training sessions (preferred)
• Support individual player development and help with practice planning and session organization
• Assist with recruiting efforts, including identifying prospects, communication, and coordinating visits
• Assist with administrative duties such as travel coordination, equipment management, and compliance-related documentation
• Contribute to the management and promotion of the program’s social media platforms (content capture, posts, and engagement)
• Maintain a strong commitment to academic support and student-athlete welfare
• Run and manage the DT (Development Team), including planning sessions, coaching matches, tracking player progress, and coordinating with varsity staff to align style of play and program standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head Coach

• Bachelor’s degree required; acceptance into a Tennessee Wesleyan University graduate program (or ability to gain acceptance)
• Collegiate playing or coaching experience preferred;
  goalkeeper playing or coaching experience preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Familiarity with social media marketing and content creation
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
