Description:

The unit provides a full range of services to meet healthcare needs.
The ICU has currently 5 beds, with plans to expand to a 10-bed facility.
Patient ratios are 2-3 patients per nurse.
Equipment includes ventilators, BiPAPs, drips, and glucometers.
EHR systems are utilized for patient documentation.
The patient population includes adults and geriatric patients, with no pediatric care.
Common diagnoses include DKA, CVA, CP, post-surgical patients, electrolyte imbalances, overdose cases, and psychiatric issues.
Teamwork and a friendly environment are emphasized.
Healthcare professionals must hold valid certifications and licensure to work as an RN.
Dress code consists of scrubs; casual attire is not permitted.
The unit values collaboration and a supportive workplace culture.
