• Implements work orders given by the maintenance manager for preventative maintenance of equipment and machinery.
• Performs a variety of routine standard servicing and repair operations.
• Performs furniture repairs and other carpentry work.
• Must actively pursue required hours and education to achieve high pressure boiler license.
• Assumes all other duties and responsibilities as necessary.

• High School Degree, GED or equivalent.

• Basic understanding of facility maintenance/repair.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Routine tasks require climbing, kneeling, walking, reaching for and handling of tools and equipment parts.
• Near visual acuity is necessary for reading of various specifications.
• Work is medium, involving lifting and carrying of objects.
• Subject to noise from machinery and electrical shock or burns from heated equipment.
• Occasionally works in extreme heat or cold.
• Knowledge on the use of saws, welders, drills, truck and electric testers.

Compensation Details: Education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
