School of Nursing Athens Campus BSN Fixed-Term Instructor Academic Year  (Pool)

Applications will be accepted into this pool posting for School of Nursing Adjunct Faculty for the Athens campus BSN Program to fill positions as need arises for the  academic year (August – May). This posting remains open until filled and applications will be reviewed immediately after submission.

This position is not remote. Successful candidates must be on campus in Athens, OH or at clinical placement facilities located in southeast OH, central OH, and/or western WV.

• Provide instruction, supervision, guidance, and counsel to undergraduate nursing students in relation to BSN program objectives.
• Plan and supervise student learning experiences.
• Evaluate student progress and record and report as required by the School of Nursing.
• Perform clinical supervision of students, meeting the requirements of the assigned clinical facility including up-to-date immunizations/vaccines, clear FBI and BCI background checks, drug screen testing, and lifting requirements (~50 lbs).

• Minimum of a BSN degree (or higher) required by the start date of appointment.
• Minimum of two years (24 months full‑time equivalent) of clinical nursing experience in the United States.
• Current unrestricted Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Preferred: MSN degree.
• Preferred:
  Obstetrics RN Certification.

Hourly rate commensurate with highest achieved nursing degree. Benefits include sick leave and retirement.
