Instructor of Sociology, Part-time, Non-Tenure Track (Pool Posting)
The Department of Sociology & Anthropology at Ohio University seeks to fill temporary, part‑time instructor positions for the academic year 2025–2026. Positions may involve teaching undergraduate sections of Introduction to Sociology (Soc 1000) and 2000‑level courses, either online or on campus at one or more of the following locations:
Athens, Chillicothe, Eastern, Lancaster, Pickerington, Proctorville, Southern, or Zanesville. On‑campus instruction requires three hours in‑class per class per week and an additional hour per week for office hours.

- Sample syllabus (or syllabi) for relevant course(s)
- Course evaluations, if available (attach as “Other” document type), including quantitative and qualitative evaluations

Qualifications- Minimum: MA in Sociology and relevant university‑level teaching experience
- Preferred: ABD or PhD in Sociology, experience as an independent instructor with full instructional and gradebook responsibility, evidence of teaching effectiveness
