Duties include:

invoicing, data entry; filing; copying; document collection; modifying documents and other duties as assigned. Part-time. This position will work in an office environment. This position requires a detail oriented focus, and being able to work effectively independently and in a team environment.

Job Profile

Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following:

Works in Ohio University culinary services, providing customer service, preparing food, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a positive experience for students and staff. Duties may include serving/preparing/stocking food, dining room and dishroom cleaning, inventory, cashiering, and hostessing.

Level Summary

Performs basic tasks and assists with administrative or operational duties under supervision. Roles are entry-level and aimed at providing exposure to workplace environments.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Limited supervisory responsibilities. May supervise other student workers.

Fiscal Responsibilities:

No budgetary responsibility.

Problem Solving:

Addresses routine, well-defined problems under supervision.

Independence of Action:

Works under close supervision.

Communication and

Collaboration:

Communicates primarily with supervisor and peers. Collaborates with team members to accomplish tasks.

Minimum Qualifications

Enrolled for classes at Ohio University, Hocking College, another post-secondary education institution, or a secondary school during the current semester, immediate previous semester, or immediate upcoming semester. Able to follow instructions and complete tasks within deadlines. Basic knowledge of office software and communication tools. Departments may have specific minimum requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Food Pro Inventory Management System, Prior

Experience with Invoicing, MS Word, Excel, and E-Mail

Working Condition/Physical Demands:

This role is primarily desk-based and involves extensive use of desktop computers. Occasionally, the job may require travel to attend meetings and programs.

Department Culinary Services Pay Rate

level 2 $ 14.00/hour
